"One of the most directly useful of “Spiritual” exercises is
what we have called a Chakra scrub. The Chakra energy centers in the body function more easily when “psychically” cleaned from time to time, and the stress level in the body tends to be less when the Chakra centers are kept “tuned up.” To “scrub” the Chakras, we recommend the following technique: take a
scented oil, preferably one that is pleasant to smell and good for the skin, and anoint the Chakra centers with a small amount of the scented oil, rubbing each center in turn. The Chakra centers are located at the crest of the pubic arch,
the center of the abdomen, the place immediately beneath the joining of the
ribs—it is sometimes called the solar plexus—the center of the chest next to the
heart, the throat, the center of the forehead, and the top of the head. For
those familiar with the techniques of acupuncture {or Reiki}, these locations
may have some “significance” to you in regard to movement of energy in the body.
Having anointed these locations with oil and rubbed the oil in lightly, then
take a shower, preferably in pleasantly warm water, and wash away the oil using
a pleasantly scented soap and shampoo. Again, while showering, take care to wash
the oil away by soaping the Chakra centers and massaging lightly. This is not
intended as an arduous task, merely a way to aid the energy of the body. When a
fragment is especially fatigued, a Chakra scrub in addition of the anointing of
the palms of the hands and the soles of the feet as well can aid in restoring
energy for the fragment. When the shower is complete, dry off as usual. We do
not promise and “dramatic” alteration as a result of this exercise; we offer it
as one wholly noncoercive “spiritual” technique that can have no ill effects if
our instructions are followed as we have given them. All fragments may choose to
use this or any other technique they wish, or no technique. For most fragments,
the most noticeable benefit of Chakra scrubbing is improved and more restful
sleep, which is generally associated with lessening of stress." ~Michael, from
